The name of Sky Blue Quartz (or Sky Blue Chalcedony) is commonly mistaken as Caribbean Calcite or Amazonite. A recent test revealed this material is fine-grained quartz, chalcedony, and inclusions of chromium. The mixture of chromium, iron, and titanium mix gives the amazing blue-green hue you see. Due to iron, some areas have black, yellow, or red. These stones are natural without any treatments.
